Who we are
TEY OUT LOUD runs teyoutloud.com. We make journals, planners and other tools for well-being. If you have questions about your information, email us at info@teyoutloud.com.
What we collect, and why
- When you place an order: your name, email, billing and shipping address, phone number (if you give one) and what you bought. We use this to fulfill your order, send updates and handle returns. You don’t need an account to buy from us.
- When you join the TEY TRIBE or download the Reset Journal: your email address and, if you share it, your first name. We use this to send you the Reset Journal and occasional emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- When you message us or fill out a form: whatever you choose to share, so we can reply.
- When you comment on a post: your name, email and comment. We also check comments for spam.
- When you browse: basic technical information such as your browser type, device and IP address, plus cookies. These keep the site, your cart and checkout working. We also use the built-in tools in WordPress and our hosting account to see general visit counts, like how many people visited a page.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share only what’s needed with trusted services that help us run the business:
- PayPal processes payments. We never see or store your full card details.
- Lulu prints and ships our journals and planners. They receive your name, shipping address and order details.
- Brevo sends our emails and newsletter, and runs the “Message us” chat on the site.
- Poptin shows our sign-up pop-ups.
- Akismet checks comments and form entries for spam.
- Smash Balloon shows our Instagram posts on the site. Instagram may collect information when you view or click them.
- Google Fonts loads the fonts on our pages.
- Bluehost hosts our website and stores our backups.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Cookies are small files saved in your browser. We use them to keep items in your cart, remember choices you make on the site, and run our sign-up pop-ups and chat. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, like checkout, may not work without them.
Embedded content
Some pages show content from other sites, such as Instagram posts. Those sites may collect data about you as if you’d visited them directly.
How long we keep your information
- Order records: as long as we need them for taxes, accounting and returns
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe
- Comments: until they’re removed
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@teyoutloud.com. We may need to keep some order records for legal or tax reasons.
Children
Our site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top.
